Integrated Pest Management 2

As Farmers strive to maximise their yields whilst reducing their reliance on chemicals, there is an increased awareness of how nature can help.
Use this game in the playground or out on farm to help students understand what plants need to grow, and how nature and science can help towards a successful harvest.
Students roleplay growing plants and see for themselves how the IPM toolkit manages the impact of hazards and pests.
Whilst this activity works well as a stand alone session, it would work particularly well as a follow on session, when students have spent time learning about growing crops on the farm and the different challenges that Farmers face.
